IT is one of my favourite advertisement in the recent time. It made by O&M India.

The film opens on a monkey pulling a wooden plank with a donkey seated on it.

The donkey whips the monkey non-stop even as he cries with pain.

The monkey finds a Mentos and shows it to the donkey only to be shooed away.

Realisation dawns upon him as he pops it into his mouth.

Leaving the donkey there he starts running. One leap and he progresses to a hunter.

He runs continuously and enters a dark cave. There he learns to produce fire by rubbing stones.

He comes out as a completely transformed man and sees the donkey sitting outside his hut.

It’s now the donkey’s turn to get whipped as he pulls the cart with the man seated comfortably on it.

The ad ends as the VO concludes, “Mentos. Dimaag ki batti jala de.”

Hey guys do you know, why did they choose “after eight ” for this product ?

  Earlier the chocolate is the monopoly of small kids eventhough the adults ate without showing anyone.  Earlier they all treat  chocolate is only for kids.

Then the chocolate manufatures came to know that adults also using chocolates more than kids.

Then they need a good name to their chocolate which aims for adults … then they choose ” after eight ” why ? 

   ………….. because 8 ‘O’ clock is the bed time for the kids…   but the adults do their parties , dating e.t.c  after8 ‘O’ clock..

SO after eight  meant for Adults….
